The mission of Alpha House is to support families experiencing homelessness in building a better future. Alpha House is the primary family shelter in Washtenaw County, and our goal is to offer immediate and life-sustaining support to these families as they work to secure permanent housing. Gimme Shelter is our annual fundraising event dedicated to celebrating our growing community response to family homelessness while acknowledging the challenges that lie ahead.

 

Alpha House offers comprehensive services to families trying to get back on their feet and secure permanent housing. These services include housing-focused case management, provision of basic needs, and connection to community resources. Your support backs our mission, allowing us to build crucial infrastructure that will enable Alpha House to serve more families in the future. Together, we’re helping families get back on track.
